In Halloween, Michael Myers escaped from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium and returned to his childhood home in Haddonfield. Laurie Strode dropped off a real estate key at the old Myers house, and Michael began to stalk Laurie. On Halloween night, Laurie and her friend, Annie were babysitting in nearby houses. Laurie went to check on Annie and found all of her friends killed in gruesome fashions. Michael Myers emerged from the darkness and stabbed Laurie in the shoulder. This began one of the most terrifying chases in cinematic history.
